WebMay 8, 2009 · Bimini works fine in both and use it a lot. But, the splice done by Max Garth, who frequents the Dan Blanton board, with braided mono is in fact stronger. it is truly 100 percent. Have never seen Garth's method on line but it basically consists of threading the backing into hollow braided mono then making a splice with the mono.
