You get true 50hz/60hz smooth scrolling (no horizontal tearing!), low input to audio/video latency and better audio/video synchronization. I encourage you to give it a try and compare the performance to Combian, PiLizard and Chameleon.

WebGNU+Linux versions come without roms and windows versions do for some reason. I needed to copy the roms from the windows version onto the GNU+Linux version. And.. VICE performa horrible. BMC128 is a bare metal C128 Emulator (using VICE) for the Raspberry Pi (Models 2 & 3). There is no bloated O/S to boot and the emulator has direct access to hardware resulting in better performance than the Linux based distributions.
