WebJan 19, 2015 · That will depend on the card you choose. The GTX 970 comes in card lengths from a little over 7" to over 12"" long. Look for a case with open drive bays or removable drive bays in line with the card slot. The shorter cars, less than 9.5" will fit any case because that is the width of most ATX motherboards. WebI'm looking for an alternate case to my current Lian-Li PC-A04 to accommodate at least 6 internal 3.5" disks, 2 external 5 1/4" bays, and provide ample space to fit a 970.. My current Lian-Li case fits all disks comfortably, but the 970 is 1" too long to fit inside. I would have to sacrifice the bottom disks bay to fit it, and I'm not prepared to do that.
