This lets the TCU think the car is in gear when the circuit is open and closed for start ups when the clutch is depressed allowing you to keep ABS.

WebApr 3, 2024 · The Impreza and Crosstrek/XV are on their own platform that likely don't share any common body or chassis parts. As of 2015 (2014 in Japan) the Impreza and WRX no longer share a platform. Moreso after 2024 when the Impreza went to SGP (Subaru Global Platform) and the WRX/STI/Levorg did not. CV shafts and wheel hubs are the same part between the STI and the XV, and if you want to bring the STI brakes over you'll need new wheels that clear the calipers. This swap is definitely on my to-do list, so I've done quite a bit of research on this topic and came to the same conclusion as you did.
