Since then, the illegal trade in pangolins has been growing exponentially, with Nigeria now recognised as the epicentre of pangolin trafficking. WebFunded by the Rufford Foundation (UK) and the Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund, this project aims to assess the impacts of hunting on the Indian pangolin and to study its presence and distribution in the Northern Eastern Ghats landscape of Andhra Pradesh, India.
