A fast growing deciduous tree with shiny, deeply lobed dark green leaves. In autumn, foliage turns bronze with occasional red coloured leaves and tends to stay attached to the shoots until the new spring growth begins. Conical in shape, it has a strong leader which over time develops a loose spreading canopy.
